Director, Early Childhood Education
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead our vibrant early childhood education program at the Goddard School Northfield. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality education and care for young children, possess strong leadership skills and have a deep understanding of early childhood development principles. In addition, the Director must be able to inspire others through in-the-moment coaching.
The director responsibilities include the following:
· Provide visionary leadership to the preschool staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
· Oversee all aspects of the preschool program, including curriculum development, implementation, and assessment.
· Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
· Cultivate strong relationships with parents, families, and the community to support the holistic development of each child.
· Recruit, hire, train, and supervise teaching staff, promoting professional growth and development.
· Help manage the preschool budget and resources effectively, demonstrating fiscal responsibility.
· Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and incorporate innovative approaches into the program.
· Using a growth mindset to train, coach and develop the faculty for the future
· Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
· Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills; fun and engaging
· Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

Qualifications:
· 2 years of Director experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool required
· Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education or a related field
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Experience with PDIS and other Colorado systems
· An inspirational leader and team builder
· Proactive about building relationships with new families and maintaining high enrollment to make sure the students have access to the best curriculum available
· Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude
· Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
