The Goddard School of Grandview is currently seeking energetic, patient, caring preschool teachers whose love of children and learning make them the perfect fit for our school! We are looking to fill full time teaching positions.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

· Monday to FridayTeacher requirements include:
Assistants must have a High school diploma.
Lead Teachers must have a BA or AA in early childhood education or related field or CDA
Assistant and Support Teachers must have a high school diploma:
Teaching experience at preschool level preferred
Must pass Ohio BCI&I and FBI background checks.
Ability to work effectively with adults and children.
Willingness to attend training in child abuse recognition/prevention, CPR, first aid, and management of communicable disease.
Provide age-appropriate individual and group instruction designed to meet individual needs of children.
Stay knowledgeable in all state licensing duties and Goddard Quality Assurance standards to ensure classroom maintains compliance with the rules.
Parent communication including daily feedback and semi-annual progress reports.
Develop daily and long-range lesson plans.

A Teacher’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
· Promote Goddard School philosophy and educational objectives
· Support a code of ethical conduct
· Pursue professional development/continuing education
· Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences and professional growth opportunities
· Design an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
· Develop an appropriate classroom management system to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
· Ensure that classroom equipment is in good repair
· Promote healthy eating practices at lunch and snack times
