QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a background check (no felony convictions)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holiday shifts as scheduled
  • Must display professionalism in appearance, actions, and communication
  • Must have a customer first mentality with high energy and a positive attitude
  • Must have cannabis knowledge; cannabinoids, terpenes, strains, desired effects & medical benefits
  • Stellar cash counting skills with speed and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 20 pounds when required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
  • Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization
  • Proficiency using MS Office applications and POS systems

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

  • Greet all guests when entering the dispensary with kindness, compassion and professionalism
  • Develop and maintain rapport with guests, vendors, service providers and staff
  • Ensure guest concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate guest requests and/or problems to management when needed
  • Recommend and select proper medicine or product for guests depending on their individual needs
  • Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to patients clearly and effectively
  • Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect
  • Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork

Cash Handling & Transaction Accuracy

  • Accurately enter patient information into our database system
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Quickly and precisely handle cash and debit transactions while always maintaining a balanced cash drawer
  • Record specific requests, preferences and notifications for patients and caregivers using the POS system; and
  • Maintain awareness of patient input and suggest changes to improve service or product.

Product Knowledge

  • Educate patients and caregivers on medicating options and methods, strain information, medicine effectiveness for specific ailments and cultivation methods;
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities
  • Provide educational materials and resources for patients and caregivers as needed;

Safety and Compliance

  • Check patient’s state allowance with AZDHS Verification System.
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Ensure security of medicated products at checkout

Processing Online Orders

  • Pull and pack online and delivery orders ensuring accuracy and maintaining quality of products at all times
  • Ensure orders are packed and ready in a timely fashion
  • Ensure all products available for sale online is accurate and in stock
  • Checkout guests quickly and efficiently

JOB SCOPE

Operates with direct supervision from Retail Supervisors and Director of Operations. Follows established policies and procedures, contributes to the development of new concepts, policies and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks.
