Reports to: Office Administrator FLSA: Full Time | Non-Exempt | Hourly
This Bookkeeper role will support back-office and accounting day-to-day financial tasks. You will be responsible for assigned accounts/stores, handling payables/receivables, and other reconciliation tasks. To exceed in this role, you should have previous experience as a Bookkeeper with strong Quickbooks experience.
Essential responsibilities and duties:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete posting processes within Quickbooks
- Reconcile/Audit store reports
- Monitor financial transactions and reports, as assigned.
- Process accounts receivables and payables, as needed.
- Review/Verify accuracy of all recorded financial transactions
- Follow-up with store managers on inaccurate reports, corrections, etc.
- Enter data, maintain records, and create back-office reports as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Requirements:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent; seven to ten years of experience; or a combination of experience and education, required. Associate's degree in accounting, preferred.
- Two years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a sales-driven environment, required.
- Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Experience with Quickbooks, required.
- Some Weekends may be required
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work; great follow-up skills.
- Able to prepare, review, and understand financial reports
- Ability to create and use Pivot Tables; excellent knowledge of Excel.
