About the Opportunity

We need a talented individual to fill a potential Quality Assurance Analyst role in support of a government client at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This support includes tasks to ensure an effective Information Management concept and structure that fosters timely deployment and optimal operation of Information Systems to support the research missions.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining isolated virtualized software testing environment that supports multiple Windows and Linux configurations.
- Performing research on designated software applications. Determining CVE status and STIG compliance.
- Performing installation, configuration and analysis of software titles in a timely manner.
- Submitting written reports of testing results along with risk analysis.
- Maintain detailed records of testing actions, and package tracking.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Five (5) years of related experience.
- Familiarity with software vulnerability assessment tools. Wireshark, MKRuntest, Nessus, DoD STIGs, CVE research and reporting.
- Adept at working independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in the English language.
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to a non-technical audience.
- Experience providing technology support to a highly technical, geographically distributed user-base.
- Experience with operating and maintaining IT systems in a DoD environment.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
- One or more of the following credentials:
- CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP.
