The Grenzy Recruiting Group, LLC is working together with a locally owned, mid-sized organization in the search for a bookkeeper. The bookkeeper will report directly to the controller and be responsible for accounting support (primarily accounts payable and accounts receivable), along with some administrative tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team, in a professional environment. Duties include:
  • Accounts receivable
    • Creating and entering monthly invoices
    • Posting and reconciling cash receipts
    • Lock-box maintenance
    • Tracking electronic payments
    • Bank deposits
  • Accounts payable
    • Processing and tracking payable invoices; both paper and electronic
    • Weekly check runs, including printing and submitting checks for payment authorization
    • Vendor set up and maintenance, including W-9's and insurance certificates
  • Administrative
    • Sort mail for cash receipts
    • Filing and batching paper invoices
Candidates for the bookkeeper position should have 2 years of bookeepexperience, including A/R and A/P; and should work well with others.
