What are the responsibilities and job description for the FT Overnight Nurse position at The Guest House Ocala, LLC?
Provides nursing care through physical and mental assessments, laboratory testing, plans of care and therapeutic treatments. Knowledgeable of trauma and addictions as well as a wide range of disorders; cognitive, emotional, developmental, social and behavioral. Performs crisis intervention, as appropriate. Participates in the department's performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Ability to perform nursing assessments on all guests and reassessments per policy.
- Continuously observes guest's behavior, mental status and activities while in med building.
- Knowledgeable of medications, including psychotropic drugs, and their correct administration based on the age of the guest and their clinical condition.
- Documentation meets current standards and policies.
- Performs all aspects of guest care in an environment that optimizes guest safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
