The role  

The Leasing Professional is responsible for marketing, sales and creating positive and lasting impressions with residents, prospects and anyone who visits our 44 South office located in Austin, TX. You are the first point of contact and the most important person on our team! Attention to detail and accuracy are very important in this position, along with great closing skills. The primary duties of the leasing professional are to greet clients, to present the features and benefits of the community and closing the sale.

How you’ll contribute 
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, vendors and coworkers.

  • Assist in renewal process (warm calls, emails, letters) and documenting contact with residents.

  • Respond to internet leads, answer prospect calls and conduct property tours following company and mystery shopping guidelines.

  • Work to maximize occupancy, new lease rates and renewal rates.

  • Lease apartments and sell products and services for the community.

  • Use established sales strategies to maintain closing ratios, and provide optimal service.

  • Follow up with prospects and current residents on renewals and service requests.

  • Assist in planning and hosting resident events.

  • Responsible for auditing all lease and renewal files, key controls, and bonus submissions to the Community Manager.

  • ·Enter all resident and prospect activity into the computer daily.

  • Walk apartments before move-in to ensure they are ready.

  • Maintain product knowledge of current community and surrounding market. 

  • Assist in marketing activities for the community.

  • Complete accurate lease files and follow up on corrections needed for new and existing residents.

  • Attend company training and meetings as required.

  • Assist other communities as required.

  • Communicate professionally and effectively with staff, coworkers, vendors, residents and corporate associates in all departments.

  • Adhere to company standards and policies and procedures.

  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
