Manager, Medical Billing & Coding

The Harris Center for Mental Health & IDD is looking for an experienced Medical Billing and Coding Manager to join our team!

About the Position

The Manager of Medical Billing and Coding at The Harris Center will oversee coding operations for the organization. This role coordinates the implementation of the agency coding program and associated documentation and accurate coding for medical coding staff, the billing department, and ancillary department support. You will serve as a resource to leadership, staff, and physicians on coding and documentation standards and regulations. In this role, the Medical Billing & Coding Manager also conducts trend analyses, audits, and internal investigations for the department to ensure compliance and enforces appropriate corrective action plans as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration or related field
• CS, RHIT, or RHIA certification
• 3 years of progressive experience in healthcare services coding operations management
• Proficiency with professional billing software applications, such as Epic
