The Hasty Group is urgently looking for a prudent, experienced, trustworthy, diligent Property Manager to actively coordinate our in house renovations and unit turns, schedule and follow up with our contractors, owners and other investors. All the while maintaining open lines of communication with all parties involved. In addition to managing our construction projects, we also need you to be aware of and act as the back up for, other day to day responsibilities of property management, such as, rent collection, leasing, maintenance issues, tenant/owner conflict resolution.
To be successful at The Hasty Group, you should approach this job with care and vigilance, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, be able to think on your feet, and professionally manage vendors to ensure timely completion of construction projects. Outstanding Property Managers will be able to utilize their years of experience to assist with all aspects of the office, keep in contact with our vendors to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and keep owners in the loop as to the ever status of their property.
Responsibilities
- Delegating tasks to relevant vendors and service providers.
- Follow up to ensure requests are being completed on time.
- Ensuring quality control standards are consistently met.
- Coordinate with owners regarding renovation and maintenance funds.
- Assessing procedures and making recommendations for improvement.
- Screen and acquire new vendors
- Handle day to day property management duties
- Being a leader in the office
- Maintains property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing repairs, planning renovations, contracting with landscaping and snow removal services
- Enforces occupancy policies and procedures by confronting violators.
- Manage production of the office
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
- Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
- Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
- Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance
- Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities
- Update job and market knowledge
Skills
- 2 years of Residential Property Management experience required (single family preferred, but multifamily is fine)
- Excellent communication and follow up skills.
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Professionalism

- Ability to keep multiple tasks moving forward
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Construction/Construction Management is a BIG PLUS.
- Proficient computer skills (Appfolio & ClickUp experience nice to have)
