Founded in 1975, The Help Group is the largest , most innovative and comprehensive nonprofit of its kind in the United States serving children with special needs related to autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental delays, abuse and emotional problems. Its broad range of mental health and therapy services and residential programs extends its reach to more than 6,000 children and their families each year. Lumina Counseling, provides insurance and private pay mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, families and couples, throughout the Los Angeles area. We offer individual, group, couples and family therapy, in addition to psycho-educational evaluations and diagnostic assessments. We ensure our clinics are staffed with trained professionals with a variety of specialties and theoretical approaches, so that we are sure you will be able to find what you need.

- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field preferred.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written & verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Program Management: Oversee all aspects of the program, including operations, staff management, and financial performance.
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to expand services, reach new clients, and increase revenue.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of clinicians and support staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and staff development.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including insurance providers, community organizations, and referral sources.
- Marketing & Growth: Collaborate with in-house and outsourced marketing and outreach teams to promote the practice and increase visibility in the community.
- Reporting and Analytics: Establish key performance indicators and metrics to measure the success of business development efforts. Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive leadership.
