Henderson Group Unlimited, Inc. has a requirement for a Senior Transition Planner to support operational facilities in Bay Pines, FL. The Senior Transition Planner will provide field support during move activities, including move coordination with clients and management of move services personnel.

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES 

Direct responsibility for planning and executing Initial Outfitting projects. Assist with a variety of project meeting needs, such as preparing agendas and action items. Responsible for coordination of move activities and communication with owner representatives. Compile charts, graphs and data for project reporting and planning. Responsible for field support during move activities, move coordination with clients and management of move services personnel. And, establish and maintain relationships with executive staff, management, and departments.

 

  • Manage a geographically dispersed project team to include key personnel, functional leads, and support staff, and potential subcontractors
  • Must be able to read and understand project(s) contractual documentation to ensure the company meets or exceeds all contractual expectations, timelines, costs limitations, travel budgets, and deliverables and action items.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the project to include the planning, execution, and staffing as required for the various stages of the project
  • Coordinate, schedule, facilitate, and attend meetings during the project phases and produce meeting minutes with action items.
  • Ensure deliverables and equipment/furniture packages are given proper Quality Control attention.
  • Establish and maintain integrated master project schedules. Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in developing corrective actions. Coordinate all activities with the various stakeholders of the project delivery team. 
  • Maintain awareness of all aspects of project progress. Forecast and prioritize efforts and identify resources to accomplish tasks
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to the client regarding overall schedule, other stakeholder impacts to the schedule and critical timelines/milestones.
  • Track and ensure all contractual deliverables are prepared and delivered accurately and on time. Risk documentation, tracking, mitigation management, and reporting.

  • Ensure billing and invoicing are accurate, synchronized and coordinated with the customer
  • Review payment applications to validate progress claimed and sure contract compliance
  • Evaluate project performance with respect to cost control and change management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in Federal Healthcare setting
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in transition planning and relocation services on multi-phased healthcare projects
  • Minimum 10 years of transitions experience is required in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated experience in conceptual advance planning
  • Demonstrated identifying occupancy milestones
  • Demonstrated experience in detailed implementation planning and move sequencing
  • Demonstrated experience in preparation and setup
  • Demonstrated experience in compiling documents of detailed move plans for each department impacted, and relocation execution
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers and across organizational elements.
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Advanced proficiency in Activation Services (IOT&A)
  • Knowledge of Pricing
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Medical Facilities, Healthcare Settings, and Hospitals 
  • Experience in logistics planning

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of transition experience. *No degree or certification required if candidate has 10 years of transition management experience.

Schedule: Flexible

Job Class: Program Management

Location: USA\Florida\Bay Pines 

Telework or Virtual:  Remote with flexibility for onsite facility visits and work when needed

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Req Type: Full-Time, 40 hours with overtime as needed

Travel: Occasional
