We have a full-time Finance Associate opportunity on our Accounting & Finance team. This position will have significant interaction across the entire institution and be responsible for monitoring the treasury portfolio of assets. This will include cash management, investment balances and processing transfers. You will work on administering the insurance program and coordinate fleet vehicle registrations, as well as with our external auditors. Essential Responsibilities
- Track and monitor quarterly investment balances for the Institution’s endowment. Reconcile balances with third-party investment advisor to ensure proper balances are recorded.
- Initiate and record investment transfer on internal schedules. Enter investment wires into Institution’s bank for approval.
- Monitor cash and cash equivalent account balances and make rebalancing recommendations to CFO and Controller as needed. Analyze cash balances and transfers.
- Process and review insurance applications for institutional coverage. Coordinate with insurance broker for program renewals and administration.
- Update and renew insurance certificates as well as tracking insurance certificates received from vendors.
- Assist in the annual audit of investments with external auditors and update related schedules.
- Coordinate fleet vehicle registrations and ensure compliance for insurance and regulatory purposes.
- Prepare investment entries to accounting for investment balances and transfers.
- Assist with institutional reporting and analysis as needed.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
