The Hermitage Inn https://www.thehermitageinnvermont.com/ seeks a creative, experienced Inn Keeper/ Hotel Manager to join the team and be part of the leadership and operation of the world class Hermitage Inn on 65 acres in West Dover, Vermont.
The perfect applicant will be even tempered, have a strong dedication to excellence, a predisposition to serve, have superior teaching capabilities, be creative, possess superior skills and leadership qualities, and have a strong work ethic. The candidate should have strong computer skills and be able to work with RoomRaccoon PMS, Tock Reservations, 7shifts. Training will be provided for candidates that are new to these systems. Experience in managing a luxury hotel property is preferred but not required.
The Inn Keeper will have the support of ownership in making this country inn and restaurant one of the best establishments in the US.

Duties/responsibilities Include all of the traditional Items that fall under the GM role including but not limited to:
Overseeing and leading the entire hotel team
All hiring and training of new hotel employees.
Monitoring and maintaining the highest hospitality standards, adhering to budgets, labor models, etc.
Creating and maintaining a learning environment and guiding professional development
Overseeing organization, efficiency and policies pertaining to the hotel
Working with members of the management team to maximize sales and optimize profits
Working with RoomRaccoon, Tock, 7shifts, Heartland Payroll and google suite, as well as monitoring OTA's and guest feedback.
Ensuring that highest hospitality standards are achieved at the Inn.
Able to train and manage a large staff.
Able to stand for a 10-14 hour shift.
Experienced in luxury hotel management.
Possess leadership, team building and implementation skills.
3 years of management experience
5 years of hotel service experience
Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs, and we are an EOE.
Compensation Details

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
