OVERVIEW
The Hills Country Club is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Operations Supervisor that will be responsible for keeping our facility in impeccable condition to best serve our members. You will report to the sports directors at the facility and work as a team to ensure we stay in position by overseeing daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our business. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
DUTIES
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff members through accountability, check lists, and procedures
-Create staff schedules and find coverage if there is a problem with your team
-Ensure that your team is effectively and consistently maintaining the interior and exterior of our facilities (no landscaping responsibilities) reporting to the sports directors if there is something out of the ordinary to be addressed
- Monitor and analyze operational processes to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Train and mentor employees to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Resolve member complaints or issues in a timely manner
-Inventory and order supplies weekly to prevent the facility from a miss
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, staff hours/budget, and other relevant data
- Collaborate with other sports directors to streamline operations and improve overall performance
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Flexibility with your schedule as this position remains fluid and hours are determined by the needs of the club and your team
- Proficient in recruiting and training development
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- Experience in management is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with member, staff, and management
