Required Experience: 3 years of construction management/project management experience.
Preferred Experience:
- 5-7 years’ experience as a general construction project manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred.
- Real Estate and AutoCAD experience a plus
Job Description:
Responsible for directing, leading and administering construction projects including design, budgeting, and scheduling. Exercise due diligence regarding new construction, remodels, new/specific business initiatives, other capital improvements, and investments.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Manages construction projects, remodel programs and other capital related to construction expenses.
- Participates in pre-development activities, in partnership with Real Estate Managers, including site analysis,
cost estimates, lease reviews and development agreements to ensure cost effective solutions are attained. - Oversees the scheduling, budgeting and financial reporting and compliance of ongoing construction projects. Manages budget; continually reviewing for cost savings and process improvements.
- Interacts and communicates with departments such as Real Estate and Operations, and internal support teams including Information Technology, Asset Protection,
- Environmental Health & Safety and Logistics.
- On an infrequent basis, will assist with the maintenance of the corporate headquarters.
- Will manage the responsibility of onboarding newly acquired facilities via site visits and code compliancy.
Nature and Scope
- Responsible for the engineering, design, maintenance and construction of new facilities or alteration of existing structures. Manages construction projects and ensures compliance with specifications and contract terms.
