What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance Technician position at The Hotel At Dayton Airport Northwest?
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and machinery.
- Fabricate and install new equipment or parts as needed.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues or concerns to management.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in performing maintenance tasks in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in supervising and training others.
