The Role: Junior Lighting Sales Associate (6 to 12-Month Program)

Embark on an enlightening journey as a Junior Lighting Sales Associate. This entry-level position is designed as an immersive training experience, laying the foundational knowledge of lighting solutions, design principles, and customer engagement. Through hands-on learning and mentorship, you’ll prepare to become a certified lighting professional, with a structured path toward advanced roles within our company.

Career Progression and Earnings Potential:

  • Initial Phase (6-12 Months): As a Junior Lighting Sales Associate, you’ll earn a competitive base salary while engaging in our comprehensive training program. During this period, you will complete the American Lighting Association (ALA) exam, a pivotal step in your career development. We are pleased to offer a competitive base salary of $40,000 annually for this role, along with several bonused milestones to recognize your progression and achievements.
  • Advancement to Lighting Sales Associate: Upon successful completion of the ALA exam and demonstrating readiness, you’ll be invited to test for advancement. In this role, you become eligible to earn sales commissions, with initial total earnings ranging from $50K to $65K annually, based on performance and sales success.
  • Path to ALA Certified Lighting Specialist: Mastery at the Lighting Sales Associate level opens the door to apply for the ALA Certified Lighting Specialist position. Achieving this certification significantly escalates your earning potential, starting from $65K and up, including salary and sales commissions.
Bonused Milestones: As you progress through each phase of your career with us, from completing training milestones such as the ALA exam to achieving sales targets and earning certifications, you'll be eligible for bonus rewards that celebrate your achievements and contributions to our team.

Location & Schedule:

This full-time, in-person role encompasses working 4 weekdays and Saturdays (with a shorter shift from 10am to 4pm). One weekday off will be provided, which will be determined upon the hire date, offering a balanced and consistent schedule in our dynamic showroom environment.
