What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at The HT Group?
The HT Group is looking for a Bookkeeper for a client in Orange. This is a temp to hire position, hours are Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM. Pay is $20-$25 DOE. The right fit for this position will be someone that meets the following -
Job Duties:
- Real Estate: Apartments, Townhomes, Commercial property
- Proficient in Excel/Microsoft - Testing will be required
- AP/AR, Invoicing, General managerially reporting
- Property Manager will do the following and Bookkeeper will need to be confident in reviewing
- Rental analysis's
- Monthly cash statements
- Deposit analysis
- They will also serve as an Assistant to the Property Manager
- Answer phone in a timely professional manner and forward to proper person, respond professionally to emails, faxing and scanning.
- Budget Management
- Cash Flow Management
- Weekly/Monthly Budget vs. Actual
- Enter data, maintain records and financial statements
- Provide other administrative support as needed
Skills:
- MUST HAVE at least 5 years of experience in Accounting: AP / AR and QuickBooks
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficient skills in Typing, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and File Maintenance
- Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to multitask proficiently
- Must be reliable and dependable
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Additional Information

- Dress Code: Business casual/professional - no jeans
- Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM
