POSITION: Barista
LOCATION: 211 Smith Street
REPORTS TO: Grab ‘N Go Manager
Essential Job Functions Include:
· Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and tea beverages with enthusiasm and precision.
· Engage customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, always providing excellent customer service.
· Create visually appealing coffee and tea presentations, paying attention to detail in every drink served.
· Follow established recipes and techniques to ensure consistency in beverage quality.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including equipment, supplies, and display cases.
· Keep up to date with product knowledge, including seasonal offerings and special promotions.
· Operate cash register and POS system accurately, handling transactions efficiently and professionally.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours and busy periods.
· Uphold food safety standards and regulations, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
· Proactively address customer concerns or inquiries, striving to exceed their expectations.
· Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and a cheerful attitude.
· Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including setup and cleanup of the coffee bar area.
· Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques is advantageous.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and upbeat demeanor.
· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks or procedures as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in food and customer services preferred.
