What are the responsibilities and job description for the Zund Operator position at The Imagine Group, LLC?
SHIFT: 6am - 6pm, rotating (Mon-Wed, Thurs-Sat)
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate Zund-ICut equipment.
- Ability to read and understand work order.
- Maintain a high level of quality per specifications.
- Report any problems and/or discrepancies of products to Finishing Manager.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Work overtime when needed.
- Performs other tasks as requested.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for 8 or more hours
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to visually inspect all work for defects.
- Manual dexterity for repetitive work.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- High School diploma or equivalent/Technical or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions
- Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Basic measuring skills including Standard and Metric units
- Basic computer skills
- Reliability through attendance, punctuality and attention to work station.
- Demonstrates positive safety attitude.
