The Corporate Controller is responsible for the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with audit standards and taxes. In addition, this role is expected to provide direction on policies/procedures and continuous improvement initiatives as they relate to financial reporting and develop the accounting staff. The Corporate Controller will be tasked with developing best-in-class practices and procedures while maintaining compliance. The development of the accounting staff will be crucial to the success of this role. In addition, the Corporate Controller will be viewed as a key resource in helping build AIT for the future - advising leadership of potential changes in accounting regulations or practices that may impact global operations and reporting, and assisting in the integration planning of future M&A targets
Monthly close process management
Operational accounting oversight and issue resolution
Financial Statement Consolidation
Accounting Guidance Implementation
Managing intercompany reporting and eliminating journal entries
Preliminary financial statements distribution and issue resolution
Account reconciliation supervision and management
International Financial Reporting oversight with respect to international operations managed by local Finance Managers
Audit coordination (US consolidated) and foreign statutory audits with assistance from local Finance Managers
Mergers & Acquisitions Accounting
Payroll
Variable compensation calculation and communication
Sales commissions validation and communication
Payroll/HR system financial oversight and maintenance
- Concur (travel/expense reimbursement platform) oversight and administration

Tax
Income tax information preparation
Tax compliance coordination with consultants
Estimated tax payments and payment reconciliation
1099 reporting and filing
- Global transfer pricing policy maintenance and adherence
Non-trade Accounts Payable
Supervision of North America non-trade accounts payable
SG&A allocations and reconciliations (station / division coding)
- Performs other duties as assigned

Other Skills We Hope to See:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Required
- 15 years accounting experience
- 10-15 years solid financial management skills including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and a commercial sense of business
- CPA Required
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated work style attention to detail and enjoy a dynamic environment with new challenges and changing work priorities
- Establishes procedures and guidelines within department
- Resolves complex problem with independent action
- Demonstrate a collaborative, decisive and engaging leadership style. Build strong, trust-based, positive relationships with internal and external constituents
