Baker

The Inn at Honey Run is seeking a Baker for our restaurant Tarragon. We are a full service boutique hotel located in Millersburg. Tarragon is an upscale casual restaurant featuring New American cuisine with notable European influences. We are not your typical hotel restaurant. Our food is not your typical hotel food. Our staff is not your typical staff. We are looking for an individual that is not a typical Baker.

Successful candidates will be a self starter and maintain the highest standards of quality and control costs.

Creativity and initiative are a cornerstone of this position.

Minimum 1 yrs pastry/baking, can do attitude, basic math, ability to follow recipes with desired result, team player, willingness to learn and teach

Proven experience in Baking in a restaurant or store front is Required.

Some Key Essentials:

Able to follow recipes and also be creative with new recipes.

Maintain a recipe book of all recipes produced

Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure goods produced are costed and of high quality consistently.

Ensure proper rotation of all baked goods

Execute all desserts, pastries, chocolates, breads and packages

Ability to work on the line cooking if necessary

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
