The Job Center is hiring for 1st shift Distribution Lead for UPS in Louisville! The ideal candidate would manage daily operations and act as a customer liaison. This person will supervise a group of employees who oversee inbound flow, inventory control and outbound flow activities for customer products, as well as supervisors within the department. In addition, the Distribution Lead Supervisor manages operational efficiency and ensures work completion. This is NOT a direct hire position, but a temp to hire position.
1st Shift Options: 10am to 7pm OR 8am to 5pm plus overtime
Compensation of Distribution Lead:
- Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour
Responsibilities and Duties of Distribution Lead:
- Conducts performance tracking to monitor operational compliance
- Provide leadership to employees
- Creates and manages account and system reports
- Promotes customer satisfaction and acts as a customer liaison
- Assists with new account implementation, customer activity tracking and problem resolution
Knowledge and Skills of Distribution Lead:
- Applies regulatory and safety compliance knowledge to reduce company risk
- Applies supply chain and logistics knowledge as it relates to manufacturing and distributing products
- Coaches and develops others to increase productivity
Basic Qualifications of Distribution Lead:
- Must be able to pass clear background
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must have a minimum of 1 years' experience in warehouse/distribution center experience as a lead or supervisor
- Must have strong leadership experience
