Exciting opportunity available for a full-time, long-term position in our region! We are seeking an ideal candidate who will be responsible for efficiently operating all machinery in our shop to ensure the production of high-quality products within tight timeframes.
Duties & Responsibilities: Fabricate machine parts and toolsSet up CNC lathes according to blueprint specificationsSelect and align holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machinesConduct quality assurance checksMake necessary machine adjustmentsModify program speeds as requiredMeet production schedulesAdhere to all safety regulations Requirements: 2-5 years of experience in programming and operating CNC equipment; manual machining experience is a plus!Proficiency in CAM softwareAbility to utilize various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, bore and height gaugesProficiency in geometry and trigonometry for program calculationsStrong problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skillsCapability to create and modify programs using G&M codes Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
