We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at our oil refinery facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in a challenging industrial environment. Per Diem is included for those that qualify!
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, including electrical and mechanical components, refrigerant leaks, and system malfunctions.
Perform emergency repairs as necessary to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of critical HVAC systems.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and refinery staff to coordinate HVAC activities with ongoing operations and maintenance projects.
Preferred Skills And Expertise
EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants.
Additional certifications in electrical systems, controls, or other related fields.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
