Our client is currently seeking a Assc Patient Care Coordinator to work in Oviedo, FL!

Location : Oviedo, FL Type of Engagement : Contract Hours : Monday-Friday 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Responsibilities :
- Greets patients as they arrive and manages 10 minute wait time.
- Assists patient with intake processes including copying required documents.
- Answers phones and schedules appointments.
- Assist with coordination and processing of all patient referrals for specialty services.
- Responsible for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations including answering phones, balancing daily collections, data-entry, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel.
- Works daily reports, incomplete task, No Show reports, and other designated administrative reports according to office procedures.
- Ensures all correspondence is scanned and / or filed in timely manner.
- Manage and sort faxes to appropriate staff members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Will assist primarily with high volume inbound calls.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- One to two years of related work experience including data entry.
- Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology.
- Ability to accurately sort and file materials by alphabetic or numeric systems.
- Effective communication and customer service skills required.
- Ability to multitask, effective time-management, and organization.
Preferred Qualifications :
- 2 years of customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint,
- Experience with eCW (EMR system)
- Bilingual Spanish speaking
