Night Warehouse Supervisor

Our client, a Fortune 200 company , is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their Night Shift at their facility near Gainesville, GA . What will they provide :

What the position entails :

• You will supervise 45 Hourly Associates and will report to the Night Warehouse Manager
• You will work Sunday thru Thursday, 5 PM to 3 AM
• You will be responsible for supervising the Night Order Selectors ensuring that product is picked, loaded and delivered to customers on time, in the condition promised.
• Will be responsible for supervising personnel receiving product, pulling orders, loading trucks for next-day delivery, and processing paperwork relating to product delivery.
• Ensure timely, accurate and complete order pulling for all orders pulled during the shift.
• Ensure all orders are loaded in their entirety and in proper stop sequence on the assigned truck and trailer, and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Ensure all product received during the shift is stocked properly and that first-in / first-out warehouse procedures are followed for all stock rotation.
• Coordinate pick planning in conjunction with the Night Warehouse Manager.
• Will utilize company's warehouse management system and other technologies available to maximize productivity.
• Will analyze the productivity levels of the warehouse operation and recommend appropriate changes.
• Will handle building security to include locking warehouse and setting alarms after the night shift.
• Ensure the safe operation of all material handling equipment.
• Comply with health and safety programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you need to have :

• High School Diploma / GED (Associates Degree a plus)
• 5 years of Warehousing / Distribution experience
• 2 years of Warehouse Distribution supervisory experience
• Experienced supervising Receiving, Picking / Order Selection, and Loading trucks
• Experienced with KPI's and analyzing the productivity levels of the warehouse operation
• Knowledge of WMS (AS400 would be a plus)
• Knowledge of LMS (Experienced with Argent Associate Performance Tracking a plus)
• Demonstrated strong service ethic through personal example
• Knowledge of OSHA standards in a warehouse / distribution facility
• Ability to work shift hours
• OSHA, or Forklift operator certificate a plus
