Location: Austin, TX
Salary: $135,000.00 USD Annually - $145,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work hybrid 2x days onsite per week in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities: • Programs, codes, and develops software applications based on various development frameworks. • Rewrites or reworks existing software programs based on new requirements. • Maintains existing software programs. Troubleshoots and provides tier 3 user support for software applications. • Provides system training to end users/system owners. • Trains and provides guidance to less experienced staff.
Minimum Qualifications - Twelve or more years of experience in developing and programming/coding software applications or relevant experience. - A degree(s) in computer science or relevant field may be substituted for certain years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications •Experience in programming fundamentals in .Net/C#. •Proven experience in debugging large complex software & working on production quality applications •Good understanding of data processing and storage technologies such as SQL and/or NoSQL database systems. •Experience with web service technologies including SOAP/REST – specifically REST API •SQL understanding and scripting experience •Experience in Manipulating DB tables and LINQ query. •Experience in developing web pages using the .Net and C# programming languages. •Preference for familiarity with Electric Industry, and ERCOT Electricity Market
