Counter Supervisor
Kendall Electric is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated individual for a Counter Supervisor.

Position Summary:
The Counter Supervisor is responsible for the operation of their designated counter location. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: continual sales growth and profit management, inventory management, training/managing/developing staff.
Position Description:
- Develop and maintain business relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Strategically develop new market/customer segments to promote sales growth, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Proactively making sales calls to customers.
- Promoting add-on sales and vendor promotions.
- Promoting Counter Days.
- Effectively utilizing the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System.
- Keep management informed of all competitive conditions and changes in the marketplace.
- Successfully resolve customer issues timely and professionally; involve management as appropriate.
- Administer marketing promotions.
- Continually develop knowledge, skills, and abilities of staff; monitor staffing level and select qualified candidates when needed.
- Coordinate training and annual performance evaluations of staff.
- Administer and enforce company policies and procedures to staff; counsel as appropriate.
- Process orders/bids; enter into Eclipse business system.
- Keep current on new product development.
- Create positive relationships with vendors.
- Maintain security, openings and closings, oversee cash deposit activity; process cash and credit card transactions according to policy.
- Represent the company in a positive manner at all times.
- General housekeeping.
Position Requirements:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50lbs (100lbs. with assistance).
- Ability to stand/walk/lift, pull, and push during entire work shift.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to effectively motivate staff to reach Company sales and profit goals.
Required Experience:
- Sales experience: 5 years preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical products.
- Previous management experience.
- Previous experience and training in the use of a forklift truck.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
