What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Crew Chief position at The Kleingers Group?
Do you love working outside? We do! At The Kleingers Group, we have a 'field' day every day at the office. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Crew Chief to join our St. Pete Survey team.
Work on construction sites from an open field to wooded areas with varying terrain. Compile notes, sketches and records of data obtained in the field. You'll need a solid knowledge and experience with the operation of all surveying equipment, including automatic level, Robotic total station, data collection and GPS work. Be part of our seasoned team members who are willing to provide additional learning opportunities and focused on safety in the field while providing great client service.
Role and Qualifications include:
- 5 consecutive years' work experience in Land Survey and at least 1 year of construction staking is required.
- Good math background with solid knowledge and experience with electronic surveying instruments, field data collectors and GPS.
- Established history of working safely in the field.
- Must be self-driven, work autonomously, and able to complete workload without direct supervision.
- Good communication skills needed for client and internal contacts.
- Valid drivers’ license required that meets company insurable standards.
Prompt, dependable and flexible are important components for success in this full-time position. Our days begin at 7:00 a.m. and overtime may be needed to finish the day at the job site. We provide a competitive wage, comprehensive benefits package, and fantastic co-workers!
