Job Purpose
The Project Engineer - Project Design will be part of a small design team focused on Growth, Capacity and Cost Improvement Manufacturing Strategy, with a packaging equipment focus. The team is responsible for developing large-scale projects from their ideation to the point of execution. These projects are specifically identified for their criticality to service, innovation, or business continuity.
This individual will require both the project management and technical knowledge to develop the scope for complex manufacturing and automation projects. While this role will be focused on packaging expertise, team members are expected to have general knowledge of infrastructure, utilities, and process technologies.

Work Environment & Schedule
This position is considered a Normal office environment with moderate travel to customer locations, stores, manufacturing facilities, etc.; offices are open workspaces Additionally, this role requires 30-50% domestic and international travel. The travel requirements are cyclical and will be dependent on the development stage of the project. Many of our factories are located several hours from the nearest airport, so a driver's license is required.

Location(s)Chicago/Aon Center, Employee's Home - GeoBase Salary Range: $110,200.00 - $137,800.00Target Total Cash Range: $165,300.00 - $206,700.00Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings.
