Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional services to the Arviiq Center’s Adult Education and High School Completion Support Program
- Evaluate existing programs and continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Assist individuals in developing essential skills though instruction or tutoring math, reading, writing, science, and social studies to achive their high school diplomas, or GED, enhance employment prospects or pursue college or vocational training opportunities.
- Stay abreast of trends and best practices in adult education and training to inform program development and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to education and training programs.
- Monitor and assess program outcomes and impact, making data-driven decisions to drive program effectiveness and growth.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and relevant policies in the fields of cultural preservation, education, and community development.

- Proven experience in adult education, training, curriculum development, and program management.
- Interpersonal competencies to include: integrity and trust, adaptability, leadership, motivation ability, coaching and mentoring skills, and initiative.

- Strong understanding of Alaska Native cultures, traditions, and issues, with a commitment to cultural preservation and empowerment.

- Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and assessment strategies.
- Familiarity with technology-enhanced learning tools and platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Adult Education, Training, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in program management, preferably in a non-profit or community-based organization.
