We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work in our shipping and receiving department, managing incoming and outgoing orders. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, you will unload deliveries from trucks, move inventory to the correct shelving location, fulfill orders, and load up trucks for outbound orders. You must be meticulous and ensure each order is filled accurately. We prefer candidates who have some warehouse experience, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload products for trucks or containers
- Review incoming/outgoing products for damage
- Sort and place materials and items according to organizational standards
- Operate forklifts to move products within the warehouse
- Wrap/unwrap pallets
- Label products before inspecting and preparing for shipping
- Communicate efficiently with supervisors and teammates
- Comply with regulations and procedures to align with quality service standards
- Ensure your work environment is clean, tidy and safe for you and others around you
The ideal candidate has:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred
- Valid and current forklift certification
- Experience operating manual and power pallet jacks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Efficient in fast paced environments
- Dependable and reliable, good time management skills
