The Maintenance Technician position performs routine maintenance and monitors the facilities by performing the following duties on 288 units.
Responsibilities
- Always demonstrate quality customer service
- Work alone and or in a team with professionalism and efficiency
- Respond to problems and find solutions to any repairs needed on the premises including installation of appliances, HVAC, electrical, and others in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to OSHA standards as well as the Company's safety and hazard communications programs, policies, and procedures
- Work with Maintenance Manager/Supervisor to ensure a clean workstation, follow budget guidelines, maintain preventative maintenance, and complete all assigned tasks up to company standards
- Work with the service team to ensure the premises is presentable and safe for operations
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and work ethic to help keep the atmosphere friendly and productive
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
- 1 year Maintenance Technician experience is preferred
- Able to lift over 50 lbs. consistently throughout an 8-12 hour workday
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, wiring map diagram, structural maintenance including, but not limited to, drainage pipes, gutters, sidewalk repair, fundamental to advanced plumbing, basic to advanced electrical, and painting.
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematics without assistance
- Ability to travel to additional safety or instructional courses off the premises.
- Remain on call after hours if necessary.
- Ability to work overtime if necessary.
- Reliable transportation is required

SUPERVISORY EXPECTATIONS:
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Salary: $16/hr.
