The Learning Experience Lakewood Ranch is growing. We care for children from 6 weeks to 8 years. Our hours are 6:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. We are seeking a full time Toddler and Preschool Teachers
The Ideal Candidate meets the following requirements:
- The Desire to make a difference in the lives of others
- Experience working in a child care setting
- A professional, positive attitude
- Classroom duties include: helping children with eating, diapering/toileting, cleaning, keeping a clean and safe room, keeping a TLE complaint classroom, keeping appropriate logs and paperwork, staying in compliance with all state licensing standards
- This is a physically ACTIVE role, able to stand for long periods of time, frequent walking, sitting on the floor and playing with children, being able to lift up to a 40lbs child in an emergency situation. You must be able to get up off the floor and stand up quickly
- A loving demeanor with children!
- CPR and first aid certified
- 45 hours of state training required
- Staff Credential/CDA a plus
- All candidates must pass the level two background clearance
