Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and reliable Tutor to join our educational team. You will work with students of various ages, either one-on-one or in groups, to provide help with phonics, reading comprehension and/or writing. After each tutoring session, the tutor will need to document completed tasks and observations made during instruction. We also offer test preparation services, so being able to support students with test prep is a plus. Our ideal candidate has worked professionally with school-age students for at least one year or is currently enrolled in an accredited university and have obtained 60 credits or more. Responsibilities and Duties * Set lesson goals and milestones. * Plan and implement instructional plan. * Explain the problem-solving method in an easy-to-understand way * Provide encouragement and positive motivation * Prepare materials specific to upcoming assessments/ projects. * Collaborate with parents and Instructional Specialists to evaluate student needs * Document progress to discuss with parents and Instructional Specialists Qualifications and Skills * Proven experience working with children and/or older students. * Strong Reading and Writing Skills * Loves working with children. * Able to work after school hours and/or Saturdays * Excellent communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tech savvy E04JI800h5cb402ajbf
