Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Nationally Recognized Personal Injury Law Firm, providing over 24 years of stellar client representaion, including trust accounting, compliance and accounting services, seeking a career-minded accountant/CPs (multiple levels) with 2 or more years tax and/or accounting experience looking for a long-term professional relationship. This person should also posses good office and computer skills, proper phone etiquette and the ability to perform and execute time sensitive tasks. The CPA will aide the office manager in overseeing the daily operations of the office by making sure everything is completed on schedule and organized. THIS POSITION HAS SIGNIFICANT ROOM FOR GROWTH & ADVANCEMENT.

Responsibilities: Prepare and/or review individual, business and fiduciary tax returns, including compiling supporting tax document workpapers backing up the returns. Assist with general correspondence with clients. Interface and manage client engagements. Assist with preparation, compiled, reviewed, and audited financial statements. Assist with tax authorities' examinations, including responses to notices and requests for information. Tax planning and research.

Qualifications: Accounting degree and/or CPA, tax and/or trust accounting experience a plus. Excellent communication skills. The Firms software is QuickBooks Online (knowledge helpful but not required). Good computer skills, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Programs should be part of the candidates basic skillset. Knowledge of Law Firm General & Trust Accounting a huge plus.
