What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Packer/Product Handler position at The Lee Group?
The Lee Group’s recruitment and staffing team in Newport News, Virginia is currently hiring for Product Handlers/Packers to support a of local warehouse.
The pay rate for this position $13/hr
2nd Shift works 3:00pm to 12:00 am. Some positions require Saturdays!
Successful candidates should be able to lift 50 to 60 pounds and comfortable working on repetitive tasks.
Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare outgoing shipments of product
- Use of RF scanner
- Label, wrap and seal all finished product
- Quality inspection on final product
- Load finished products for shipment
Requirements for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Repetitive lifting up to 60 pounds
- Minimum 1 year prior warehouse experience
- Must meet background requirements set by company
