The Lee Group is hiring a skilled and experienced Machine Operator for an up and coming manufacturing company in the Newport News area!
Benefits:
- Monday -Friday 5:30am-3:30pm
- 1 hour lunch break
- $16/hr

Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of proven experience as an industrial Machine Operator
- Ability to keep machines and workplace clean and doing so safely
- Safely feed materials into industrial machines (ex: roller die, punch presses, and sheering machines)
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Knowledge of warehouse safety
- Experience working in a Manufacturing and Industrial setting is a plus
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background screening
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate manufacturing machinery
- Perform visual inspection on machine parts and calibrate machine as needed
- Feed material into semi-automated machines
- Detects and reports defective material
- Check output of machines to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Collaborate with engineering and other machinist to complete projects
- Performs other typical duties of machine operators
