Are you a persuasive, motivated sales professional who loves helping people get their dream home but doesn’t love hunting for new leads? We’re hiring a full-time remote Loan Partner. Someone living in the PA/NJ area is a plus. The Loan Partner will work alongside our loan officer to make outbound calls to warm leads, help structure loans for the clients, and help get applicants' mortgages ready. While our loan officer is out in the field driving in more loan business to fill the pipeline, you’ll be calling warm leads to develop meaningful relationships for our company, and converting contacts to customers. As well as analyzing customer credit, reviewing income, and assessing documents to ensure an efficient and successful close.Jobseekers should be highly motivated, goal, and detail-oriented professionals driven to succeed. Successful candidates will have at least 1-2 years of high-volume outbound phone sales experience, and scheduling experience, and be comfortable connecting virtually. Candidates will also demonstrate knowledge of the sales process, including prospect qualification, consultative solution selling, pipeline management, follow-up, and closing skills. Since this is a salaried position, you’ll never have to worry about commission. If you’re a loan officer who always felt they never quite fit the sales mold, this is the role you’ve been looking for.
Compensation:$50,000 - $70,000 yearly
Responsibilities:Answer questions from customers or employees regarding transactions and give quotes when required to deliver excellent customer service Establish and maintain relationships with referral partners and borrowers to retain existing clients and attract new business Coordinate discussions between the loan officer, referral partners, and clients so they have a clear primary contact throughout the “contact to contract” phase of the loan process, and arrange meetings to ensure any follow-up actions get taken Look over all loan package paperwork to check for inconsistencies, omissions, and inaccurate income calculations and then report any errors to the loan originator Orchestrate the completion of loan applications, coordinate the collection of documentation including credit reports, run DU/LP/AUS, prepare the file for processing, and send a closing cost worksheet to borrowers Manage a high volume of warm outbound phone and email contacts for prospective customersQualifications:Valid NMLS license or must be willing to get licensed within 90 days Working knowledge of automated underwriting systems such as DU and LP Capable of analyzing credit reports, income, and asset documents, and can structure a loan properly in a variety of ways Superb follow-up, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills 2 years of experience as a Loan Officer or LOA/Loan Partner required, 2 years of experience as a Processor, and/or Underwriter, in addition, a plus1-2 years of high-volume outbound sales, scheduling experience, and/or related sales experienceCandidates can be anywhere in the United States, but East Coast is a plusAbout CompanyThe Lending Group Co is a retail mortgage lender that provides a complete range of premium mortgage products and services to meet the needs of its clients.
