Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Tasting Room Manager to join our Lenz team. As an Assistant Tasting Room Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our tasting room and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of tasting guides, hosts, bussing staff, and other team members
- Ensure that all public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
- Train and develop staff on proper sales procedures and customer service protocols
- Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies, food menu items and cleaning supplies and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with other departments, such as general manager, winemaker and founders, to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with scheduling and assigning tasks to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality field is desired but willing to train the right professional
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of online reservations, point of sales devices and scheduling apps in the hospitality industry
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to work some evenings, all weekends, and holidays as needed

Skills:
- Tasting Room operations knowledge
- Experience in food service or kitchen operations is a plus
- Team management skills
- Ability to lead by example and provide guidance to staff members
- Strong problem-solving abilities

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
