What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Tech (Controls) position at The LFS Group?
The LFS Group is looking for Low Voltage Technicians that have experience with fire alarms, security systems, HVAC controls, and datacom! We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a 4 day work week!
JOB SUMMARY:
- Must have experience with fire alarms, security systems, HVAC controls, and data com.
- Industrial and water treatment experience would be great but not required.
- Set up low voltage devices.
- Wire the device safely and accurately.
- Test that device works properly after repair.
- Comply with safety regulations to ensure accurate installation.
- Explain how to control the device to the customer and answer any questions.
- Repair malfunctioning devices or broken wiring.
- Know color code for datacom/telecom.
- Know the basics of cable management – CLEAN looking cables once installed and using every foot of cable provided in one container before switching to the next one.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
