What are the responsibilities and job description for the Light Fixture Assembly position at The Light Factory?
The Light Factory is seeking a part-time assembly associate who will be responsible for assembling our light fixtures by hand in our Spokane studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Candidate must be organized with their time and physical space, as well as build fixtures efficiently, carefully and consistently.
This position is permanent with competitive wages and benefits plus a yearly profit sharing bonus. We're looking for a candidate that has availability of 3-4 shifts a week for a total of 21-24 hours to start. Full time hours might be possible in the future. Shift hours are flexible and can be scheduled around your needs as long as they fall between 8am-4pm. We're happy to work around school schedules if needed.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hand assemble a variety of light fixtures with attention to quality standards.
- Clean and prepare metal and glass parts and finished hardware.
- Regular handling of all lighting parts and completed fixtures in a protective and careful manner
- Efficiently meet deadlines to ensure all orders are shipped on time.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Be willing to ask questions, receive and implement feedback when learning.
- Must be extremely adept with your hands, with a high level of attention to craft and detail.
- Ability to learn how to efficiently and safely handle, move, pack, unpack, load, unload sensitive and valuable light fixtures.
- Physically able to lift and handle large, fragile and heavy light fixtures, up to 30lbs, on a regular basis.
