Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Lab Manager to join our team located in Phoenix, AZ.
The Lab Manager will manage the Laboratory Operations.
Lab Manager
- Manage all Quality Control laboratories operations.
- Oversee the development and improvement of current analytical processes and equipment.
- Provide laboratory personnel with technical assistance and training.
- Manage the Development, revision, overseeing and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
- Facilitate the development of new products with conjunction of R&D.
- Assist Sales/customer service with quotes, technical assistance, and customer inquiries.
- Assist Plant Manager with departmental policies, annual budget, pricing, product development, and product improvement.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related science required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing analytical personnel, preferably for a major specialty gas producer.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience in most common methods of gas production and analysis is required.
- Ability to motivate personnel to provide high quality products on time and in a safe environment
