Job Overview:
This position works with senior management to ensure the strategic implementation of continuous improvement (Six Sigma or Lean) and productivity improvement initiatives. Leads large complex productivity improvement projects.
The location is open to the following areas such as Peachtree City, Georgia, Tonawanda, New York and other Plant location in the East Region.
Scope: This position understands business strategies, culture and work and uses knowledge to achieve results and execute work beyond the scope of their individual function. Leads projects/events using a variety of productivity tools resulting in significant productivity improvements. Provides consultative advice within a specific functional or business area. Communicates compelling need for change. Standardizes best practice problem-solving approaches. Enforces process discipline.
Reporting Relationships: This position will report to a productivity manager. This position often influences or leads others without having direct personnel management responsibilities. May act as an internal consultant to senior productivity professionals and their project teams.
Special Physical Requirements: Under development by S&ES.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accountable for Annual Region Cost Savings Target (~ 5% of region cost stack)
• Application of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools as Project Lead
• Ensures Lean and Six Sigma activities are aligned with region strategies and activities
• Works with assigned client groups in developing project ideas and chartering projects
• Develops productivity alternatives with appropriate risk profiles and/or identifies actions to mitigate risks
• May influence outcomes within broad area of responsibility and/or beyond client group
• Monitors external/ internal trends and makes recommendations to improve productivity procedures, methods, tools
• Provide mentorship to client Green Belts

Required Qualifications:

• Ten years of Business/Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree desirable
• Black Belt Certification preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Project Lead (as Black Belt or Green Belt) experience preferred
• Six Sigma Project Lead Training
