Our continued growth has created an immediate need for a Construction Inspector located in Bedford Hills, NY.
The client for this project is for the Office of General Services.

Responsibilities
- Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications
- Inspect all material upon arrival to the jobsite to ensure compliance
- Review plans to identify potential violations
- Document inspections and report any issues
- Determine the quality of materials being used throughout testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management a plus
- Minimum (6) years of experience in building construction trades.
- Minimum (4) years of experience as a Construction Inspector including inspection of site/civil
- OSHA 30 hr.
- Proficiency with web-based submittal collaboration systems
- Construction scheduling knowledge to support project team
- Experience with the Uniform Code and NYC Supplement is preferred
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures
- Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations
- Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Collaborate with multiple team members
- Ability and coordination to safely maneuver around a construction site
