Health and Wellness Professional

Three Forks Ranch has an exciting opportunity in health and wellness. This position will work in conjunction with exercise specialists, nutritionists, wellness coaches, and spa and wellness practitioners in a luxury wellness resort setting. Guests enjoy our Mayo Clinic sponsored Sustainable Wellness Experiences: Physical Fitness and Nutrition that include group nutrition, fitness, and resiliency sessions, educational lectures, luxury spa services and a variety of outdoor activities – all designed to motivate guests in their wellness journey. Each experience offers direct access to Mayo Clinic, expert guidance and insights, personalized itineraries, and ongoing support.

As a Health and Wellness Professional, you will help facilitate, assess, and evaluate fitness and wellness assessments to guests of Three Forks Ranch. You will directly report to and receive direction from the Director of Healthy Living. You must have an interest in growth within the industry. You will be expected to understand, promote, and role model the Three Forks & Mayo Clinic partnership. As a Three Forks Ranch Wellness and Health Professional, you must be passionate about fitness and holistic wellbeing and see health and spa as both integrated and an integral part of wellness.

Responsibilities and Job Functions

• Serve as an expert in the field of wellness promotion.
• Complete necessary Mayo Clinic & equipment trainings to be an expert in all fitness and wellness assessments.
• Conduct 1:1 training and diagnostic sessions to educate, motivate, and inspire guests in their wellness journey.
• Ability to administer fitness assessments and safely conduct personal training sessions, once properly trained.
• Must have a passion for fitness and promoting health and sustainable wellness.
• Ensure confidentiality, ethics and client trust is always protected.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and refine services.
• Use principles of health coaching to support guests in pursuing their goals and motivating them on their wellness journey.
• Ensure all guest requests are communicated and completed.
• Exudes professionalism that aligns with Three Forks’ values.
• Work in partnership with guests to develop their itineraries prior to their arrival at Three Forks Ranch
• Perform additional related duties as requested by a manager at any time.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in exercise science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, health promotion, or related field is preferred
• Passion for continuing education, professional development, and personal growth.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft office
• Efficient time management
• Experience in hospitality and wellness resorts is a plus.
• Friendly and collaborates well with others.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

Licensure/Certification

· Current BLS Certification within 90 days from hire date

· Limited Scope X-Ray Operator (BDO) certification through Wyoming Dept. of Health within 6 months from hire date

· NCCA Accredited Group Fitness or Personal Training Certification within 1 year from hire date

Physical Requirements

Compensation

Competitive salaried based on experience; position includes housing, health benefits, 401K enrollment, paid time off, and three meals a day. Must have a vehicle. Pets must be approved by hiring manager. A valid driver's License is required.
