What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Member (Cashier, Customer Service, Kitchen Staff) position at The Loop Handcrafted Churros?
- Arrive on time for all shifts and stay until shift complete
- Greet and serve customers with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions about the menu
- Input orders into a POS system and accept payment using a credit card reader or cash register, calculating change accurately and quickly as required
- Handle customer’s concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems
- Stock, restock, and maintain a clean and organized work area and a presentable store environment
- Correctly and safely operate kitchen equipment
- Maintain appropriate portion control by anticipating and reacting to customer volume and consistently monitor level of menu items
- Cleaning including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counter-tops
- Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
- Process large orders for events
Requirements
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Have the ability to develop positive working relationships with all members and work as part of a team by helping others as needed or requested
- Be able to exhibit a cheerful and helpful attitude, and provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to learn quickly in fast-paced, high volume environment
- Previous hospitality and/or food service experience, a plus
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
