Reporting to the F&B leadership team, the Banquet Captain will ensure that all events are executed flawlessly, guests are treated warmly and provided with luxury service.
Responsibilities:

Reviewing Event Orders and making preparations for their execution

Strong knowledge of the food menu, wine list
-
Confidence in answering any client questions regarding the event and the hotel in general

Participate in all aspects of the event space set up, service and break down service as needed

Completes opening and closing lists as needed

Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings

Focus on guest satisfaction

Provide excellent customer service by being readily available/approachable for all guests
Qualifications:
-
5 years of banquets in a high volume or luxury hotel
-
Experience working in high-end hotel outlets environment strongly preferred

Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Ability to take ownership of issues
-
Ability to embody and impart the Lorens unique culture to all associates

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
